Buying a silver Jewellery in India
Most silver jewellery sold online here isn't hallmarked, because hallmarking silver is still voluntary rather than mandatory. That puts the burden of checking on you. A 925 stamp alone proves very little — anyone can stamp anything. What actually proves purity is a BIS hallmark carrying a unique HUID, which you can look up yourself in the BIS Care app to see the purity grade, the testing centre and the date it was certified.
Every piece on this page carries one. We'd rather you check than take our word for it, and the same test works on anyone else's jewellery too. If you want the longer version, we wrote a short guide on how to judge silver jewellery, covering plating, stone authenticity and what nickel-free actually means.
On fit: ring sizes in India run on a different scale to US and UK, and ours are listed in the Indian standard. If you're between two, take the larger.
Chain lengths are stated in inches on every product page, and ring sizing is free to exchange once if the fit is wrong.
